Wildflower Seed Bombs
Our seed bombs contain 19 species of British native wildflowers.
Handmade with clay and peat-free soil mix, they are a traditional method of creating a diverse habitat for pollinators including wild bees, hoverflies and butterflies.
The RHS launched the Plants for Pollinators mark to encourage and educate us all on what pollinating insects need in our gardens. Our seed bombs contain 16 of the plants on this list so they are an ideal way to re-wild your space.
The seeds are mixed with clay, to protect them from predators, and peat-free potting mix to get them off to a good start.
Instructions- Scatter onto clear, bare soil in full sun where the rain will reach them. Leave at least 10cm between. Avoid scattering on grass. You can also use the seed bombs in pots.
Germination in around 4-6 weeks. Some species will not flower in their first year. The clay will break apart as the seeds develop and your young plants will grow!
